Until Monday, January 19, you can get a 20% discount on flights from Italy by using the airline’s current promo code PROMO20. The code only discounts travel from Italy. You can find the code and all information about it here.

The European flights from and to Rome see you seated in economy class. The long flights to Bangkok are operated by Airbus A330-900neo aircraft. These feature a 2-3-2 seating in premium economy compared to the 2-4-2 in economy class. You can find a review of the fairly new product here.
ITA’s premium economy class is offered on long-haul flights from and to Rome. An extra cabin with a maximum of 17 seats provides a nice and cosy atmosphere. 2 x 23 kg of luggage are included, and you’ll save some time at the airport by skipping the check-in line and being among the first to board the plane.
Most European citizens can enter Thailand visa-free for 60 days when travelling for touristic purposes.

According to the fare rules, tickets are on sale without a travel or sales period. A minimum stay of four days or one night from Saturday to Sunday is necessary to get the cheapest tickets. Departures are available until June, and from September 2026.
Google Flights helps you find additional flight dates and origins. We recommend purchasing tickets directly from the carrier. It’s also the only place possible to redeem the promo code PROMO20.
Editor’s Note: Even without the discount code, this is a decent offer for premium economy travel to Bangkok. The opportunity to save even more makes it even sweeter if you depart from Italy.

Information & Tips for Bangkok
Bangkok is known for its vibrant street life, cultural landmarks, and bustling markets. Key sights include the Grand Palace, Wat Pho, and the lively Khao San Road. The local currency is the Thai baht (THB), and while credit cards are widely accepted in hotels and large stores, cash is preferred for smaller vendors. The city is relatively affordable, with street food and public transport offering great value. Bangkok has a tropical climate, with hot and humid weather year-round, a rainy season from May to October, and cooler, more comfortable temperatures from November to February.
